The house of Göksel Kalaycıoğlu, an ANAP MP from Ankara between 1983 and 1991, in Alaçatı, Izmir, was chosen as the model house for the Santa Claus Peace Village.In the statement made by the Santa Claus Peace Council for Göksel Kalaycıoğlu's house, it was stated that it has the common features of houses with wood, stone work and bay windows identified with original Turkish architecture such as Antalya Kaleiçi, Elmalı and Safranbolu.The 40 countries that applied for the Santa Claus Peace Village projected to be established in Antalya's Gebiz town started to send their projects.
